Yair Ephrati joined Ridgecrest Capital in July 2004 and leads the firm's efforts in Israel. Yair had been an advisor on a number of transactions, among them the LBO of an electronic sub-system importer in Israel, a fund raising for a medical device start-up in California, as well as the acquisition of an Israeli cellular location technology provider by a European buyer. He has also managed a technology investment company. Prior to that, Yair was with McKinsey & Co. for more than 3 years based in London and New York and led teams that advised companies on new product and market strategy as well as operational analyses of mergers and acquisitions. Yair served in an Air Force intelligence unit of the Israeli Defense Forces. He holds a double-major undergraduate degree in Economics and Business from Tel Aviv University , and an MBA (High Distinction) from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
