Yaron is an Investment Banker, Investor and Director with over 14 years
of experience working with innovative, high-growth technology companies. He
is currently a Managing Director with Ridgecrest Capital Partners with a
track record of scores of successful mergers and acquisitions and capital
raising transactions, many of which were crossborder and involve some of the
biggest names in the tech world such as Microsoft, SAP, Oracle, AOL, Cisco,
Qualcomm, Avid and Amdocs among others.
Prior to Ridgecrest, Yaron worked in the Technology M&A group at Lehman
Brothers in both New York and Menlo Park, where he advised numerous Fortune
1000 technology companies on strategic transactions. Prior to Lehman
Brothers, Yaron spent two years with Morgan Stanley in the firm’s Risk
Management Group, focusing on quantitative risk assessment of large
portfolios in areas such as Commodities, Equities, and Fixed Income.
With strong passion for new technology, Yaron combined that aspect into his
university studies, his working for two software companies, and serving
three years in an Army Intelligence unit of the Israeli Defense Force where
many of Israel’s leading technology companies sprouted from. Yaron holds a
double-major undergraduate degree in Economics and Computer Science from Tel
Aviv University, and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
Yaron is on the Board of the Bay Area Outreach and Recreation Program (BORP),
a non-profit focused on improving the lives of disabled kids and adults
through sport activities. He is also a Founding Member of the Palindrome
Advisors group – a unique organization connecting industry leaders in the
technology, media and financial segments with various non-profit
organizations.
In his spare time, Yaron, who resides in Marin County, enjoys tennis,
skiing, sailing, biking, international travel and cooking as well as
spending quality time with his wife and three boys.
