Matt joined Ridgecrest Capital in 2007, bringing nearly a decade of Bay Area and New York investment banking experience to the firm. Matt has worked at firms such as Citibank / Salomon Smith Barney, Lehman Brothers, and most recently Thomas Weisel Partners, where he led their Global Applications Software Investment Banking practice. He has advised a broad range of companies on merger and acquisition transactions, as well as public and private financings, spanning from $5 million to $25 billion in transaction size. While specializing in the software space for the last several years, Matt has been advising technology companies since 1999, and began his investment banking career in 1996. Matt holds an MBA and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Management, both from Carnegie Mellon University. Matt was named a Presidential Scholar and nominated to apply for the Rhodes Scholarship while at Carnegie Mellon.
